Nathan is a Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner who feels he has the best career ever caring for children and their families so they can stay healthy and enjoy life. He first completed his training as a Registered Nurse at Durham Technical Community College in 2018 before earning his Bachelor of Science in Nursing at UNC-Wilmington. He began his nursing career with adults working on a surgical unit at UNC Hospital in Chapel Hill and then home health with Duke in Wake County. After having his own children and seeing the experiences of friends with children, Nathan knew he wanted to spend the rest of his career in pediatrics keeping kids smiling, laughing, and as least sick as possible. He earned his Master of Science in Nursing from Duke University in 2025 with the goal of staying in primary care to build long-term relationships with patients and families. Nathan focuses most strongly and passionately on evidence-based preventative and holistic-focused medicine to maximize the amazing resilience kids show every day.

Originally from Indianapolis, Indiana, Nathan moved to North Carolina as a teenager and has loved it ever since (Go Tar Heels and Carolina Hurricanes!). Nathan lives in south Raleigh with his wife and four children in a house full of fun. When not being a pediatric nurse practitioner, you can find him playing any sport - especially soccer and pickleball - or reading a good book. He loves the view from the top of a mountain, the feeling of swimming in the ocean, and the taste of fresh-baked cookies and brownies. He looks forward to meeting you and getting to know your family!
